Saint Lucia company formation & onboarding support

Saint Lucia Company, Corporate Account & Legal Opinion Support

A coordinated service for company formation, corporate bank or EMI applications, business-document preparation and, where appropriate, an independent legal opinion tailored to the proposed operating model.

Important: Incorporation in Saint Lucia is not, by itself, a financial-services, forex, brokerage, investment, payment or banking licence. Regulated activities require the relevant authorisation in every jurisdiction where the business is carried on or marketed.
Service overview

A compliant foundation for cross-border business

This service is designed for technology providers, consultants, holding companies and other lawful international businesses that need a Saint Lucia entity and support with their operational onboarding.

For brokers, fintech firms and other financial-sector businesses, FinPro first reviews the proposed activities, customer locations, fund flows and counterparties. We then identify which elements can be performed by the company and which may require separate regulatory approval.

Typical scope

  • Name availability check and incorporation coordination through a locally licensed registered agent
  • Registered office and registered-agent arrangements
  • Corporate records and initial resolutions
  • Bank and/or EMI suitability assessment and application support
  • Business plan, activity description and KYC file preparation
  • Coordination of an independent legal opinion where suitable and separately agreed

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is this a Saint Lucia forex or broker licence?

No. A Saint Lucia company incorporation certificate, listed business objects and a legal opinion do not amount to an FSRA forex or broker licence. Any regulated activity must be assessed separately in Saint Lucia and in each market served.

Can the company describe finance-related activities?

Potentially, if the wording is accurate and lawful. Describing an activity in corporate documents does not authorise the company to conduct a regulated service. We review the operating model before recommending wording.

Is a local director required?

The appropriate governance and substance depend on the company’s facts, applicable law, tax position and counterparties. Banks or other partners may impose requirements beyond the minimum incorporation rules.

Is a bank or EMI account guaranteed?

No. Every institution performs its own KYC, risk and compliance review and may approve, request further information or decline an application at its sole discretion.

What does the legal opinion cover?

The scope is agreed with independent counsel and depends on complete, accurate client information. It may analyse specified activities under identified laws, but it cannot legalise prohibited conduct or replace a required licence.
